Tiny Cartridge 3DS

Here’s one last Nester comic to close out Nintendo Power, which is shipping its last issue this month. Artist Bill Mudron killed it here (the comic, not the actual magazine).

I love that Nester framed and hung his mentor’s bowtie in his Nintendo room. Make sure to go out and buy the last issue for more nostalgia from the publication’s 24-year run.

The final and never-before-published Howard & Nester comic, uploaded in full by Howard Phillips. It’s very different from the last comic that appeared in Nintendo Power— and it’s obvious why this was never printed!
Phillips, formerly a spokesperson for Nintendo, received this special comic from the Nintendo Power team as he was departing the company to work at Lucasfilm Games, hence the Star Wars allusion at the end.
The “Gail” referred to here is Gail Tilden, Nintendo Power's founder and Nintendo of America's former Brand Management VP. For more context on the comic, including explanations for the “junky” comment and the Japanese yelling, hit up Phillips’ Facebook page!
