Daniel X: The Ultimate Power trailer. I almost passed over this DS title, skeptical that a licensed game based on a James Patterson book series was worth investing any interest in; the DS adaptation of James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club didn’t help convince me otherwise.

Something about the combo-heavy combat, however, seemed familiar — it looks just like Spider-Man: Web of Shadows DS, a gem most missed due to its crappier home console counterparts. I bet the Griptonite team behind Web of Shadows DS and the acclaimed Spyro: The Eternal Night GBA edition is now developing Daniel X.

I hope this is also a Metroidvania like Web of Shadows!
