Opening of Mamasen, an eroge by Willowsoft — featuring JulieHally’s “Ma ma ma mar-mar-lade!” When did eroge start being accompanied by awesome chiptune soundtracks? And more importantly, can I get said soundtracks without having to roleplay a timid, yet irresistible college student for hours in search of “passionate fruity missing linkage”?

Tiny Cartridge readers know we love chiptunes with vocals. I think part of it is that adding elements of more traditional musical forms causes the songs to built around a somewhat more traditional (pop-like) structure that is more accessible. And in this case, more danceable. This track is ridiculously catchy.
The song is part of a two-song collection, 256 e.p., released yesterday and available at HearJapan for $2.22.
