[Thanks for the correction, Bob!]

Two more minutes of Kingdom Hearts 3D, the second release of what’s looking like a Square Enix summer. You won’t have long to wait after Theatrhythm for another new game from the company, as this hits on July 31.

This new clip shows off allegedly exciting features like the 3DS game’s Dive Mode, Reality Shift minigames, and Flick Rush. There’s also a brief exchange between Riku and Quasimoto, in which the two try to decide whether their love is enough to keep them happy in this complicated world. Will these two lovebirds ever realize that they have something special? I have a hunch they will, some day.

Kingdom Hearts Sora mug. I usually don’t associate Kingdom Hearts with subtlety – it’s more of an “enormous clown shoes, garish colors, and Goofy” kind of series – but this mug is nicely understated!
It’ll ship from NCSX in July, for $28.90.

Kingdom Heart 3D's four-minute E3 trailer, delivered early so we don't forget it while we're barraged with new game announcements next week.

Square Enix also put out a press release yesterday to assure fans that the series’ celebrity cast of voice actors will return for this, including Leonard Nimoy (Master Xehanort), Haley Joel Osment (Sora), David Gallagher (Riku), Hayden Panetierre (Xion), Jesse McCartney (Roxas/Ventus), and Quinton Flynn (Axel/Lea).

No word yet on whether Square Enix has brought back the legendary group that produced the Goof Troop theme.

More English screens of Kingdom Hearts 3D, including Pete’s creeper mustache. Speaking of Pete and his pals, I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to add Goof Troop's theme song to my This Is My Jam account.

Kingdom Hearts 3D's Mark of Mystery Edition, releasing in North America on July 31 for $54.99.
The limited edition package includes the following:
a copy of Kingdom Hearts 3D
a branded clear hard case skin cover
set of 12 art cards meant to reflect the history of the Kingdom Hearts series
set of five augmented reality cards to unlock rare Dream Eaters and more
and a branded magnetic box to keep it all in
It’s not the special edition 3DS that Japan got, but I don’t think anyone really expected that in the States anyway.

English trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Obsessive fans of the series probably saw this trailer hours ago — then again, those obsessive fans probably imported and completed the game months ago, too — but I’m sharing it anyway because the amount of voice acting here is impressive. I wonder if Square Enix shelled out the big bucks for Jeff Bridges’ voice?

We’ve decided to distribute a KH3D demo in North America as well as Japan. You can play part of Sora’s scenario in Traverse Town. So if your friends haven’t played it yet, you can recommend it to them. And of course, give the co-op mini game Flick Rush a try.

Also, an unannounced title is being prepared as well, though it’s something lighter.

Square Enix director Tetsuya Nomura promising an eShop trial for Kingdom Hearts 3D and a new mystery game, according to a Famitsu Weekly interview.

It’s going to be a very Square Enix summer for 3DS owners! First you’ve got co-op hack’n slash Heroes of Ruin releasing for the system on June 26, music game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy on July 3, and then Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance on July 31.

Once these titles are out of the way, Square Enix can start planning to release Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest 3 and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy later this year, right?

No, it’s never enough for us, because we are jerks. Where’s that special edition KH3D bundle, Square Enix?

A dual-screen look at Kingdom Hearts 3D. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen most if not all of these images before, but I like when companies release assets that actually show both screens. Why don’t more publishers do this?
