Custom Cave Story figurine by Kodykoala. This memorable scene of Quote carrying an unconscious Curly Brace has lots of great details, large (the optional air bubble) and small (junked robot parts on the floor). I always find this sequence really nerve-wracking…
The basis for this figure is a Pinky Street toy, with Ash from Pokemon as the head.

Custom Yoshi Mech by Donald “KodyKoala” Kennedy. This is just what the green dinosaur needed to transform himself into a top-tier fighter in Smash Bros.!
What’s great about this mech is that when Yoshi leaps across a huge gap to another platform and doesn’t think he’s going to make it, he can hop off the robot in mid-air for an extra boost. You know, like Mario does to Yoshi all the frickin’ time.

Custom Zero Suit Samus Pinky Street figure by Donald “KodyKoala” Kennedy. This will go well with his custom Princess Daisy Pinky Street model he created last month!
Pinky Street, in case you’ve never heard of them, are plastic Japanese figures about 4” tall featuring a wide range of interchangeable parts (e.g. heads, hair, accessories, etc.). KodyKoala carved this Zero Suit Samus out of another figure, which is why it looks likes it’s leaning back a little.
Speaking of Metroid, Nintendo updated its Japanese site for Other M with new screenshots, a short clip of Samus’s ship flying around, and orchestral arrangements by Kuniaki Haishima for the original Metroid and Super Metroid themes (playing in the background).
Preorder: Metroid: Other M

For reasons I can’t understand, some people refuse to pay full price for games like A Boy and His Blob or Muramasa because of their 2D graphics. Totally ridiculous! Anyway, those people can finally pick up A Boy and His Blob, as Amazon has cut its price down to $19.99.
If you want the free shipping that comes with any orders over $25, you could also throw the Mistwalker-designed tactical RPG Blue Dragon Plus into your cart for $8.77.
The above image, by the way, is a custom figure created by toy artist Donald “KodyKoala” Kennedy.

Custom Guts-Dozer figure by Donald “KodyKoala” Kennedy. Ohhhhh shhiiittttt. He even made a Neo Met!
This dude’s Mega Man toys are always nuts — definitely check out his custom Dr. Wily and Air Man (with working fan!) pieces. His King Hippo figure also captures the Punch-Out!! fighter so well, it’s probably too gross to actually put on store shelves.
