Luigi’s Mansion 2’s Poltergust 5000 in real life
Nintendo and iam8bit built a real version of Luigi’s Poltergust 5000. It has a real vacuum cleaner in it. Whyyyyyy does it have a real vacuum cleaner in it? It would have been totally impressive as a nonfunctional prop.
Anyway, I need to see how it works on ghosts before I make a final judgment.
Multiplayer mode in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is straight-up Ghostbusters
You can interpret “Ghostbusters” in the above headline as either a direct comparison, or some kind of new slang cool kids are saying on the streets:
ghost·bust·ers adjective \gōst-bəs-tərs\
1. when something is awesome but maybe a little scary too <That haunted skateboard just kickflipped itself, son! Shit was ghostbusters.>
The game’s multiplayer mode is both local and online, and supports download play. Totally slimerbutts, right?
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon boxart and screens
Another game that received a U.S. release date today — I’m unsure how I’ll make time for this seeing as it comes out right after Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, but these screenshots convinced me that its worth trying to find a way at least.
PREORDER Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Those of you hoping for a Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon release date came away from this morning’s Nintendo Direct disappointed, but the livestream did give us this look at the game’s new U.S. cover. So, there’s that.
And in the presentation held across the pond, Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata had the following to say:
“[Mario] maybe needs a little holiday in 2013. And maybe he will have the chance now as Luigi is finally ready to step out of Mario’s shadow in 2013. 2013 is going to be the year of Luigi. It’s going to start with Luigi’s Mansion 2.”
I wonder what plans the company has in mind?
PREORDER Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
E3 gameplay clip for Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon — one last video for the night before we’re deluged by a flood of 3DS game media from tomorrow’s software presentation.
I wonder if the developer behind this, Next Level Games (Punch Out!!) has other 3DS projects in development?
