This Castlevania-ish song is great by itself, but I’m really posting it to complement this rad Kid Dracula GIF:

I really liked Kid Dracula. I wish Konami would make another one of these games instead of something like Lords of Shadow. If you want to reboot the Castlevania franchise, don’t look to Kojima Productions to create a 3D game with Patrick Stewart and an unproven Spanish studio; just look to dancing Kid Dracula.

Or with an interstellar message sent across an incomprehensible distance to your lover on Earth — words that finally meet his eyes decades later, revealing that you regretted choosing a spacefaring life over his arms, and promising to meet him in the afterlife?

Matt Wilson released a free album in mid-December, which doesn’t include the above song but offers 12 other stirring tracks. Titled Chi*p Death, the release is advertised as “the official soundtrack for jumping out of an exploding fortress.”
