Street Fighter dudes and meatbuns rolled into a shirt
The LA Game Space continues to trot out some ridiculous rewards for its Kickstarter — along with the 30 games you can get by chipping in just $15, you can get this shirt, a tee from Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, or other designs when you throw in some extra cash.
This shirt comes from stylish apparel shop Meatbun and the good-hearted Nina Matsumoto (yes, of Game Center CX translations fame). LA Game Space is just a few thousand bucks away from hitting its pledge goal, so do your part to fund the project and get this tee!
Meatbun’s description for the art, which looks modeled after a film poster for a Mario Kart hot rod movie:
“In some darker alternate reality, Peach is the queen of the asphalt, leader of a gang of street tough Toads… and mortal enemy of Bowser’s bikers.”
The listing also says this is “safe for family functions,” but some of the princess depictions here seem risque..

If you’re in the Los Angeles area and want to get together with like-minded gamers, don’t forget that Giant Robot 2, Attract Mode, and Meatbun, and others are holding their bi-monthly Game Night event tonight, starting at 7PM.
While there, you’ll have an opportunity to play unreleased indie games (projected outdoors and playable in game stations indoors) like Haunted Temple Studios’ Advance Wars-style strategy title Skulls of the Shogun, and Revenge Labs’ fascinating 2D fighter Skullgirls.
Though neither of those games are for handhelds, you’ll still want to bring your 3DS, as Giant Robot 2 is taking part in today’s “StreetPass Day” promotion.
