Here’s why we need another Mega Man cartoon ⊟

Two reasons:

  1. We need more Cut Man shenanigans
  2. We need Lamar Abrams to work on the show, so he can incorporate these character designs he just posted (he has one for Roll, too!)

Since that’s probably not going to happen, I’ll settle for buying copies of Remake and watching the cartoon that Abrams is already contributing to, Steven Universe.

Mega Man Game Boy games coming to VC in May ⊟
Capcom announced plans to put all the unreleased Mega Man Game Boy games on Virtual Console throughout the month of “Mega May.” That means Mega Man 2, 3, 4, 5, Xtreme, and Xtreme 2, which is way more VC games than usually come out in a month.
There’s a poll on Capcom-Unity to determine which of those will come out first. I just voted for 2 because why would you release them out of order? Why would you do that. They have numbers on them. (For real, I’m not complaining – anyone who puts any number of VC games on 3DS is doing all right by me)
The comments on that post are, as comments tend to be, way overreaching, with people requesting new games, Battle Network games, or new Battle Network games instead of the emulated Game Boy games that are actually happening.

Let’s say that, if we have all seven Dragon Balls right here, right now, and Shen Long comes up and says, ‘What’s your wish?’ My wish would be, give me all the right tools, people, and environment to create Legends 3.

Keiji Inafune, recounting his Dragon Ball Z fanfiction continuing desire to see Mega Man Legends 3 completed, in an interview with USGamer’s Jeremy Parish.

He said that since Capcom still owns the IP he can’t just make it, but that he’s confident he’d be able to get the team together, both from Capcom and outside, if given the opportunity to finish the cancelled 3DS project. But would he be able to convince Yamcha to join him on another adventure?

Damnnnnn, Luigi. What happened to your neck? The Mario group comes from Andrew Dickman, Mega Man from Ryan Jampole, Robotnik’s legs (lol) from Sean Cunningham, and Kirby (awwwww) from Tyson Hesse.

Thanks to Tiny Cartridge readers Dylan Starks and Bururian for sharing these with us in the original Sonic Boom post!

We did it. Mighty No. 9 is coming to 3DS, Vita ⊟
So many people doubted this Kickstarter would hit its handheld stretch goal (which was higher than the PS4/XB1 goals for some reason, even though everyone knows portables are more important than next-gen), but we did it. We made it happen. Sometimes the world isn’t as awful as you think.

Poor MegaMan is never gonna get off that moon ⊟
Thanks, Capcom. At least Inafune is working on something very Mega Man-esque, and his project Mighty No. 9 just hit its Kickstarter goal of $900,000 goal. Now fund that thing some more, so we can get a Wii U version and maybe a handheld edition somehow. And read Christian’s excellent piece about our hopes and expectations for Mighty No. 9!

Mega Man Nanoblocks

Yes, okay, one of each please. These are being released in Japan this October through e-Capcom, though Nanoblocks are sold in the U.S. sooooo there’s a chance.

Both Mega Man and Cutman come with little nano-size extras. Don’t ask Cutman for help; that guy’ll ruin the whole thing, and maybe swallow some tiny blocks

Mega Man's Game Boy releases coming to 3DS VC

After releasing all of the NES titles to the eShop — and after a lot of groveling from Dr. Wily — Capcom has decided to release the rest of the Mega Man’s Game Boy titles (II-V) to the 3DS Virtual Console in North America and Europe. We don’t have any release dates yet, but we do know that Mega Man Xtreme 1 and 2 from the Game Boy Color are also coming too!
