Tiny Cartridge

In honor of Mole Mania’s eShop release yesterday, some fanart of the Game Boy puzzler’s star from Ashley Davis!
Those in the know have already praised this as one of Shigeru Miyamoto’s unsung masterpieces, but just in case you haven’t heard, Mole Mania is one of the good ones.
Buy: Nintendo 3DS XL Red or Blue, Nintendo 3DS

Excerpt from a comic-based review of the Game Boy’s Mole Mania, by Loki of Nintendo Super Squad. This review was posted in issue 12.2 of GameSpite, and is great. The personified NES cartridge has protuberant buttocks for some reason, like every frame of animation in a Cow and Chicken cartoon. It’s also a very thoughtful review of a great, sort of forgotten Game Boy game, independent of butt pix.
GameSpite editor Jeremy Parish mentioned in his introduction to the review that he used to draw reviews in a similar style. I’ll link to two here because they’re wonderful: We Love Katamari, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and part 2 (not really a review, but a comic about reviewing a game — CLOSE ENOUGH.)
