Cool Monster Hunter 4 shirts by Uniqlo

These are just four of an approximate fuckton of Monster Hunter designs being produced by Uniqlo’s UT line for sale in stores and online. The cool thing about Uniqlo shirts (besides the “looking rad” thing) is that even the stuff that doesn’t seem like it would make it out of Japan shows up in the US stores and on the website!

The official release date on these is May 31. There’s underwear too, don’t worry.

Super cute Monster Hunter 4 figures

Fans in Japan will be able to win these Banpresto-made figures by picking up tickets at their local 7-11 next March. The adorable Felyne Tank might be the coolest toy vehicle since the TMNT Pizza Launcher — though it doesn’t quite match that toy’s brilliance because it fails to shoot pizzas.

3DS LL/XL’s Circle Pad Pro is big, yeah yeah yeah. Nikkei Trendy took close-up shots of the unit, which Capcom is using to demo Monster Hunter 4 at TGS.

Speaking of Monhun 4, new trailer! This one has online play, so NEW PLAN: everyone buy Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on both platforms so we definitely get this one.

Monster Hunter 4 screens. I won’t say this is the most impressive-looking game I’ve ever seen, but man, check out those colors! The color palette definitely makes me want to play this.

Capcom’s bringing Monster Hunter 4 to TGS. I look forward to reading impressions after the show, mostly to see which western journalists were determined enough or had enough free time to stand in line for about six hours to play it.

New look at Monster Hunter 4, coming out for Nintendo 3DS in Japan next spring. I’ve read a few complaints online about the textures, but whatevs. We’re still many months away from this game’s release, and I’m sure it looks better on the 3DS display at its intended resolution.

Plus, right now, I’d just be grateful to hear any kind of announcement from Capcom that this and Monster Hunter Tri-G are releasing to North America at all.

It begins! Monster Hunter 4 trailer. The big surprise reveal last night, and the reason why Nintendo didn’t mind Capcom spilling the details on MH Tri-G a few days ago in Famitsu, was this concept video for this next project.

I don’t think anyone expected Nintendo to announce that Monster Hunter 4, the next numbered release from the franchise that essentially revived the PSP, will hit the 3DS. Of course, there’s been no talk of this being an exclusive, so it’s possible this will release for PSP, Vita, and maybe other consoles at around the same time.

A lot of people are comparing this partnership to the one Nintendo struck with Capcom for Wii, where it released Monster Hunter G first, and then Monster Hunter Tri.
