New trailer for GhostSlayer, the first-person WiiWare title bearing a close resemblance to Wii Sports Resort’s swordplay game but with the undead. This hit the North American download service today for 600 points, so someone buy it and let us know if it’s any good!

According to Gevo, this is the first WiiWare release to support the Motion+ peripheral, which is remarkable considering this is from a small Singaporean studio — though I hear their last release, the Metal-Gear-meets-Pac-Man DSiWare game Escapee Go!, is really fun.

The Motion+ accessory is optional, but playing with just the Wii Remote sounds like a much less fun experience, as the sword no longer follows your movements 1-to-1. Instead, you shake the controller to attack, and switch between blocking and attacking by holding down the B button. :o/

Trailer for GhostSlayer, a first-person, MotionPlus-enhanced swordfighting game coming to WiiWare. It looks a lot like the swordplay game in Wii Sports Resort, except instead of cutting down Miis, you’re slashing away at the undead. I found the sword game in Wii Sports Resort really fun, so much so that I’m surprised more developers haven’t created a knock off like this.

Gevo Entertainment, the same Singaporean studio that recently released the Metal-Gear-meets-Pac-Man DSiWare game Escapee Go!, is working on this. It’s great that they get to work on another interesting project.
