“My Chariot” music video by The Depreciation Guild. Two opportunities to feature this Brooklyn chipgaze band this week! First, the group’s infectious cover of YMO “Kimi Ni Mune Kyun” — which I’ve listened to 20+ times the past few days — and now this slick video shot in Tokyo.
Random thought: how awesome is that black wallpaper (with matching curtains?) around the 1:25 mark?
If you definitely need more of The Depreciation Guild in your life but won’t be able to catch their tour this fall, they do make a cameo in chiptune documentary Reformat the Planet, so you should pick that up.
