NFG, whose arcade font generator thing we featured before, has just released a utility to create shmup scenes, in horizontal and vertical versions. You can choose from a variety of backgrounds, ships, bosses, bullets, enemies, and even little emoticon speech bubbles.

NFG’s new site allows you to generate text in any of 60 authentic arcade fonts. This one is Wonder Boy! You just select a font, type the text into a form, and hit the ‘font me’ button!

I was going to do the whole post in Wonder Boy, but you can’t add line breaks, and it would have taken me forever to do the text as an image one line at a time. OH WELL.
