Even though we put up a butt-ton of posts today — enough content to fill a typical week’s worth of Tiny Cartridge — we only managed to share maybe half of all the trailers debuted for the Nintendo Conference.
For all those games we missed, please hit the above link to see the Japanese site for the event, which should have more than enough videos and images to prove that, despite what others will tell, the 3DS has some life in it yet.

Art promoting the planned Kid Icarus: Uprising animated shorts from Production I.G., Shaft, and Studio 4℃.
Details posted by NeoGAF’s Masked Man:
The anime by Production I.G (known for such works as “Ghost in the Shell”) will feature Pit as the main character. An orthodox 3D action title mixing human artillery, Medusa’s lackeys, and Thanatos, God of Death. Scheduled for three (3) episodes.
My Twitter was all abuzz while “Madoka Magica” was on the air. Shaft’s comical mini-series sets Palutena, Goddess of Light, as the main character. Perhaps this sort of thing is their specialty. Cheerful and amusing. Scheduled for two (2) episodes.
Studio 4℃, whose art style is so full of personality (e.g. “MEMORIES,” “Animatrix”), are focusing on Medusa. They’re visually portraying her actions from the past up until her comeback. Scheduled for one (1) episode.

Calcio Bit sequel revealed for 3DS! It doesn’t have the realism of Winning Eleven/FIFA or the over-the-top anime moves of Inazuma Eleven, but I always wanted to play the Japan-only GBA release for this soccer sim.
I remember someone posting import impressions for the original Calcio Bit years ago (Maybe on Neogaf? Can’t find the thread.), and it just sounded so charming.
That said, this really should be an eShop game…

Extended Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai trailer. I told you this think looked rad! If the game mechanics look similar, you might have seen them in Britney’s Dance Beat (LOL).
Regardless of how neat/fun/creepy this might look, as far as I know, Sega has never released any Hatsune Mike game in the West, so don’t get your hopes up for this!

Did you know that Nintendo has dozens of trailers from last night’s 3DS conference all available on the Japanese eShop for streaming? While our eShop isn’t so blessed, here’s something neat you can view on your system.
Just hit the link above in your Nintendo 3DS’s built-in web browser, and you’ll be able to see and download new screenshots from Super Mario 3D Land.

Trailer for the new Fire Emblem game, coming to 3DS with co-op and 3D graphics (in combat) next year.
Cross your fingers that this will actually come to the West, unlike last year’s Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem - Hero of Light and Shadow. Maybe Nintendo will take the anime-ish character designs into account and conclude that gamers are bound to eat this up over here?

Trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, releasing on DSiWare for free on September 28! (well, free until February 28 of next year).
It turns out this isn’t just a port of the four-player game that was included in the GBA release for A Link to the Past. Grezzo, which worked on the Ocarina of Time 3D remake, has added new content, including a single-player option — a second Link accompanies your character, and you can switch between the two by hitting L/R.
And you’ll notice in the trailer (01:43) there are new areas based on the original Zelda NES game, Link’s Awakening for Game Boy, and A Link to the Past for SNES:
“There are 2 exclusive new areas to play - each containing 3 new levels to complete - which have been specifically made for this edition of the game. By completing the new areas, you’ll be able to unlock additional special skills. Fans of the franchise will be familiar with the Master Sword and Hurricane Spin, and both return to help you on your quest.
Mastering the challenging new area ‘Hero’s Trial’, which contains elements from other levels as well as 3 new maps, will allow you to unlock the Hurricane Spin, whilst tackling the new area ‘Realm of Memories’ - made up of famous locations from The Legend of Zelda series - unlocks the Master Sword.
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition also includes new control options, including “whistle” functionality on the X Button, allowing players to call for attention, alert each other of their location on the map, as well as making use of the lower screen to show your inventory and place on the map.”
I can’t believe this is all for free!

Super Mario 3D Land screenshots and boxart (click for larger images). I think this is the first time we’ve seen parts of the packaging art creep into the right Nintendo 3DS strip? And check out the 8-bit-style stage!
I’ve put up approximately a hojillion posts today, so just in case you missed them, here are links to the game’s new trailer and an informative interview with Miyamoto.

Trailer for OmiyaSoft’s new Culdcept game coming to 3DS in Japan some time next year. It didn’t get much attention last night, what with all the bigger titles unveiled, but I’ve always wanted to play this card/board game series.
Sega did release Culdcept for DS a few years ago, though only in Japan (there’s a near-complete fan translation patch); maybe this time, with Nintendo publishing this, we’ll see this in the States? The game will have online play, and according to Culdcept Central, this looks like it’s based on Culdcept II (PS2/DC) but with plenty of additions.

Square Enix’s Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. Love the music, the visual style by Akihiko Yoshida (which is why this looks so much like a follow-up to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light), and even the super weird title.
This will be a traditional RPG but with augmented reality features, In Japan at least, Square Enix has put out an app on the eShop demonstrating how that will work, using AR cards given out at Tokyo Game Show and posted on its site.
More footage of the game here (skip to 03:15)! And here are some nice screenshots and artwork, too.

It’s been a a few months since we’ve seen a major firmware upgrade for the 3DS, and so Nintendo of America has announced that it’s delivering a new one some time this November allowing you to capture stereoscopic 3D video with the system’s dinky cameras.
The update also provides “new experiences for people who have conquered all the StreetPass challenges in StreetPass Mii Plaza”. I’m definitely not one of those people, since I’ve received like, what, three StreetPasses ever — but I’m sure those of you in 3DS-filled areas will appreciate this.
Furthermore, Nintendo revealed last night that it will update the eShop interface, though it didn’t specify how, or whether that will be included in the firmware release.
What do you want from future 3DS firmware updates?
