Why, Palpitoad
Between this and Snivy’s late-night chats, I’m really regretting that I’ve spent so much time playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate instead of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.

Why no one likes to sleep over at Snivy’s

These are some serious feels you’re laying on me, Snivy. Thought I was going to just pass out here after a day’s worth of adventuring, but now I’m rolling to the side so you can’t see the tears streaming down my face while you tell your life story.

You don’t have to face the world alone, Snivy. Though it’s killing me that I can’t turn around and tell you that, I don’t want you to see me crying. I know it’s stupid or childish or whatever you want to call it. But… Believe it or not, I’ve never had anyone I could depend on either, and I’m not as strong as I make myself out to be.

what is happening

All right, maybe I’ll check out one of these games. Did you realize Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity launched yesterday? Technically, that’s why the Pikachu 3DS XL was released as well, but that special edition hardware (along with Luigi’s Mansion) completely overshadowed the game.

Nic Cage as every Pokemon

So there’s this Tumblr in which the artist takes every first-generation Pokémon’s face… OFF, and replaces it with the face of Nicolas Cage.

Speaking of, please make sure you’ve seen the Nicolas Cage Majora’s Mask mod.

I want this kid’s lunch…
And the cute mini-tray/holder! I’d need a couple more wings, though, so it’d have to be a Pikachu Lunch XL.
I found this while looking for photos of the Pikachu 3DS XL that will release in the U.S. next Sunday. Azu__azu shot the photo of his son at a restaurant next door to a Pokémon Center in Japan. I’m pretty much jelly over everything going on in this photo — this kid living the life.

Pikachu 3DS XL comes to U.S. on March 24
After white smoke billowed out of the official Pokémon Twitter account’s chimney yesterday, we knew this announcement was imminent.
Priced at $199.99 and packed with a 4GB SD card, this Pikachu Edition handheld will release alongside Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity — don’t forget that when you buy a 3DS XL and this game (or Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon), you can get a free download code for one of five first-party titles when you register both.
[Update: Target will have the system on sale for $160!]

Animal Crossing: New LeafPokémon Red/Blue

Here’s another 8-bit RPG-inspired town that one user created for others to dream walk through (last time we showed you one for Dragon Quest).

Merong Crossing, which has been a treasure trove for fun AC:NL shots, says you can access this town with the following dream code: “1200 - 1040 - 9659”.

Don’t forget that Amazon has AC:NL preorders available with a $5 discount!
