Where we’re going, we don’t need official boxart
Because something like this works just fine. Don’t forget that preorders are now open at Amazon for the 3DS sequel to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past!
And don’t forget about these still active deals either:
Fire Emblem: Awakening - $29.99 (backordered, sidebar link)
Super Mario 3D Land - $29.99
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - $29.99 (backordered, sidebar link)
Mario Kart 7 - $29.99
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate - $24.99 (backordered, sidebar link)
Kid Icarus: Uprising is also $31.99, which is a decent deal for a great game. Don’t forget that it comes with a banana stand.

Shin Megami Tensei IV’s Amazon pre-order outfit
All right, I typically don’t get down with retailer-exclusive pre-order bonuses, but this is way too good.

“In addition to the Limited Edition Box Set, capture the spirit of the Amazon package with its cardboard color, signature smile logo, and bar code is this imaginative upper body armor for the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado’s Samurai.”

So if you pre-order, you get the limited edition box set, and this limited edition box jacket. If you’re concerned about silly costumes violating the immersion or whatever, let me just say NEO FEATHERMAN.

Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward bracelet, available in one of three colors (Red, Blue, Green) when you preorder the game through Amazon. I’m sure a lot of you already own the original 999 bracelet, but just think about the heights your swag level would reach if you rocked both on your wrist at the same time. Sky’s the limit.

It looks pretty hot even without the wallpapers!

Square Enix has delayed Heroes of Ruin’s North American release by three weeks to July 17, which is bad news for people anxious to play a Diablo-style online dungeon crawler on a portable. It’s unclear what brought on the delay, seeing as it’s still releasing in the UK on June 15.

It’s not all bad news, though — the n-Space-developed game has been discounted on Amazon temporarily for $29.99, meaning that those who have already preordered it or who reserve it now can save $10 on it. Amazon did the same thing with Theatrhythm a couple days ago, but the price went back up to $39.99 before we noticed. At least the people who had preordered it previously received the discount automatically, too.

New English Kingdom Hearts 3D screens. JC points out that pre-orders include three “Dream Eater” AR cards:

“Every pre-order gets the card that unlocks the ‘R&R Seal Dream Eater’ and the card that unlocks a viewing stand for 3D Dream Eater images. A third card will unlock one of three other Dream Eaters: Ursa Circus, Sudo Neku, or Meowjesty. These characters can be recruited to join you in battle.”

Yeah, sounds great. Whatever.

Kid Icarus: Uprising trailer featuring Dark Pit, air/land combat, and… a space dragon? That came out of nowhere.

As action-packed as this looks, I’m still not convinced that I need to have the game and its bundled stand in my life. The thing is, I really want to play the prettied up 3D Classics: Kid Icarus, and Nintendo of America is giving out download codes for that to people who preorder Uprising at select retailers (specific stores not identified yet).

It’s a devious way to get people to preorder Uprising! Meanwhile, people in Japan and Europe receive 3D Classics: Kid Icarus for free just for buying and registering two select 3DS games. No such luck for us!
