Tiny Cartridge 3DS

Rayman Origins for 3DS was (finally) given a June 5 release date for North America, and a demo was released on the eShop to promote it. However, it didn’t actually ship to stores then, and one day later Ubisoft showed off the (amaaaaaazing) sequel at E3, later confirming to IGN that Origins 3DS has been delayed to November to tie in with Legends (which is, again, its sequel.)

Anyway, the same plan doesn’t hold for Europe, where the game came out, because it was done. Look, there it is.

Launch trailer for the 3DS version of Rayman Origins, which received an eShop demo (30 playthroughs) today! Game & Watch Gallery 2 (GBC) releases for 3DS Virtual Console next week. eShop is getting awesome again!

There are rumors that when the full version of Rayman Origins releases to stores, it will also have a download version on eShop. It’s all due to this press release text:

"The full version of the game will be available at retailers and online on June 5, 2012."

I think the likely scenario, though, is that “online” refers to sites like Amazon and other online retailers.
