Video of the Nintendo 3DS purportedly stolen from a Chinese assembly line. It’s a bit frustrating because the clip ends right after he boots the portable, and you don’t get to see anything other than the initial debug screens.
Earlier this morning, I commented that we haven’t learned much from the smuggled system, but that’s untrue! This non-final unit reveals:
To put that last number into context, here are some RAM counts for other handhelds and consoles:
If you watch the reflection on the 3DS’s screen, you’ll notice a look of surprise from the guy filming the video right before the clip ends, as he notices the strange red dots that have suddenly painted his body.

Photos of a Nintendo 3DS allegedly stolen from a Chinese factory. In a move reminiscent of last year’s stolen iPhone 4 stories, a worker from a Chinese factory claims to have lifted a Nintendo 3DS unit, taking it home and posting photos of the device.
Though stories like these are suspicious, the thief has posted photos of the system booting up (into a debug mode) and the device with its back pulled off. It’s possible this could be one of the 3DSes Nintendo is having manufactured for its upcoming public events.
Unfortunately, the photos and worker haven’t revealed anything new about the device, as far as I can tell. We might learn more if the smuggler posts more details — that is, unless Nintendo sends Groove Raider a team of professional assassins after him.

Rumor: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom coming to North America?
The scoop is that July’s Nintendo Power reveals Capcom’s plans to bring its lauded, Wii-exclusive (not counting arcades) crossover fighting game Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes to the States.
Even with these photographed pages, though, I’m unconvinced this rumor is true. Why would someone already have next month’s issue? Aren’t we still a few weeks away before Nintendo Power even starts printing the magazine, let along shipping it?

But if it is true, fuuuuucckkkkk yeah!
