Three minutes of Rune Factory 4, releasing for 3DS in Japan on July 19 — we’ve yet to hear a U.S. announcement from Natsume, though it does intend to release Harvest Moon: A New Beginning here some time this year.

Some details you might notice in the trailer: floating islands, this fancy dude with his peacock feather fan, and a brief bit hinting that swimsuits will likely make a return — I’m told that people are excited about that last point.

Picnicking in Rune Factory 4. Like other Harvest Moon series games (of which Rune Factory is a spinoff), it is possible for your character to date and eventually marry an NPC. In this game, you can take that date out on a picnic — “and,” as Siliconera puts it, “if you’re lucky you might get a love confession.”

Or murdered, because there are monsters everywhere, even during your picnic.
