“You Must Play the Sega Saturn” shirt by Cospa. I passed up this shirt, which features a translation of Segata Sanshiro’s catchphrase, at TGS last year, never imagining I’d get another chance to buy it. Unfortunately, the $40 price stings as badly coming from NCSX as it did from Cospa’s booth. And to be candid, I don’t, um, play much Sega Saturn. I’m not playing it right now, for example. I can’t in good conscience espouse that rule!
Optec’s SS Pro Commander for Saturn. What a magnificently awkward controller — like Bandai’s Super Controller II, but somehow less attractive. It has a screen and a set of buttons used for programming button combinations, and a seventh gameplay button that, I believe, can be set to launch specific recordings. Also, it sticks out of the controller in an entertainingly slapdash manner. With as ergonomic and design-y as controllers are most of the time (look at the Wiimote, for example) I can’t help but love this thing.
NCSX is selling boxed SS Pro Commanders for $25.90, including the optional memory card. Yes, it has its own memory card.

Devil Blade 2 Saturn cartridge. Yes, cartridge. The Saturn Junkyard’s elend liked this game, made by Shigatake in the shmup construction program Dezaemon 2 so much that he decided to dedicate a Saturn memory unit to it, putting the card inside a Mega Drive cartridge and case, and making custom art for both the game and the package.
Devil Blade 2 is included with the Dezaemon 2 Save Game Manager, a program that allows Dezaemon-made games to be loaded onto modded Saturns.
