Skyward Sword and Metroid: Other M outfits for Dynasty Warriors VS. (click for larger images). It’s not surprising to see these costumes pop up here, since Tecmo Koei worked with Nintendo on Other M, and also featured Metroid elements in Dead or Alive Dimensions.

This one actually has a chance of releasing in North America, since Samurai Warriors Chronicles for 3DS did!

Penny Arcade’s completed, five-page comic for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (click for larger images).

As much as I love whenever Penny Arcade collaborates with a publisher to create promotional comics like this one, they’re usually posted a page at a time, and I always forget to check back to see the entire thing. I’m just doing my duty to make sure that doesn’t happen to you!

By the way, I finally dove back into Skyward Sword last night — taking a break from letting people murder me online in Mario Kart 7 — and completed the fifth dungeon. Holy crap, that dungeon’s boss was amazing!

Also Zelda related!: the series’ creator Shigeru Miyamoto recently talked about collaborations with Retro Studios (Metroid Prime) similar to Mario Kart 7, and he mentioned that a possible Legend of Zelda project with the Western developer is worth considering. Huh!

A Skyward Sword comic and two possible sticker packs by Tiffany ‘OMOcat’ Liao (click for larger images).

Those Kikwis are soooo cute. If OMOcat does decide to put them up for sale, you’ll be able to buy them — long with some rad looking Mother booklets — on her Etsy shop.

Oh, I’m sure Link knows someone who can help you with that problem, Kina. Treehouse, you scoundrels.
So much flirting going on in Skyward Sword! Between June Carter/Johnny Cash-esque duets with the Pumpkin Landing pub owner’s daughter, stumbling out of Karane’s dorm room during the late night hours (which has earned our hero a few nasty looks from jealous Academy students), and toying with the Item Check girl’s emotions, who has time to save Zelda?

Robin Williams hawks Zelda: Skyward Sword in the UK once again. This is the Dead Poets Society of Robin Williams Zelda ads, in that it’s not supposed to be funny. If it were just unfunny, it would be the Father’s Day of Robin Williams Zelda ads.

So I don’t normally get down with 3D Zelda anymore, but after reading Griffin’s excellent review and hearing Eric rave about it, I really want to try Skyward Sword! There are too many damn games this holiday season. In general, I mean. Not on Wii — on Wii there’s, like, this and Kirby.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword hackzzz. The new Zelda Wii game isn’t due to release for another two weeks, but people are already hacking its content! In this image for example, you can see Link exchanging his green tunic for a blue and purple outfit. Swag.
This was all made possible by a leaked demo of the game that escaped from a recent European trade show and appeared online last night. People have been breaking down this thing in all sorts of ways, ripping its music tracks, using cheat codes to access different areas, and just getting an early taste of the game.
GBAtemp member Doombringer even whipped up a private tool that allows him to edit textures and models, and even create custom dungeons. Nuts!

New U.S. commercial for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It doesn’t have the father-daughter team of Robin and Zelda Williams like the series’ recent ad spots, but this has a suitably epic feel that I’m sure will excite many.

I’ve put a fair amount of hours into this game, and it’s brilliant! There are like dozens of videos and previews coming out for it right now all over the internet, but I suggest you ignore them just like I did during the past year or so — it’s much more fun to explore all the details and surprises Skyward Sword has to offer yourself.

Lanayru Desert trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (here’s a video for the Mining Facility, too).

I haven’t followed Skyward Sword much — and it shows in our coverage — as I wasn’t too excited about it. I’ve been playing it the past couple days, though, and it’s amazing.

Now that a copy of Super Mario 3D Land has found its way to the Tiny Cartridge offices, I don’t know which to play! It’s like Sophie’s Choice all over again: should I play the new Zelda or the new Mario? That’s what Sophie’s Choice was about, right? Video game dilemmas?

In related news, there’s a Portuguese site claiming that Eiji Aonuma, director for the Nintendo series, revealed in an interview that his team is working on a new iteration that’s “[not] a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS” but one that “takes much of what has been done on previous handhelds”. Interesting if true!

Skyward Sword Easter Egg in Ocarina of Time 3D. This won’t blow your mind or anything, but it’s a fun nod to the upcoming Wii game — plus, it sort of fits with that Skyward Sword being a prequel to Ocarina of Time.

Ocarina of Time 3D releases in just a week! Don’t forget to register your copy with Club Nintendo, and get a limited edition soundtrack CD for free. The album features 50 songs (some never released), new illustrations, and a “special message” from Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo.
