Trailer for Space Invaders Infinity Gene (iPhone).

While I’m bothered that Taito is porting its mobile game Space Invaders Infinity Gene to iPhone instead of DSiWare, I understand that it’s in the interest of not competing with its other portable games revamping the 31-year-old series, Space Invaders Extreme. Besides, SIE 2 hits stores in the U.S. this September.

Still, I can’t help but feel jealousy over not having a chance to play this on my pitiful, four-year-old Motorola E815 (But JC will have that chance, what with his new iPhone and all, which is why we can never be true friends).
