New Super Mario Bros. Wii Nokonoko Air Hockey Set. As far as I’m concerned, humanity’s done; this is the crowning achievement. For one thing, it’s a self-contained air hockey set in which the puck creates the air cushion, instead of the table.

More importantly, it’s a real Koopa shell that glides around when kicked. Real Koopa shell. That’s the world we live in right now.

You can buy this for $14.20 from Strapya.

PlayStation card case now available at Strapya →

If you were taken with the PlayStation business card case we posted a few days ago, I’m happy to tell you that you can now order your very own from Strapya, for $15.60.

“Official licensed and made in Japan!”, the product page reads. “Just in case you thought it is too good to be true! It’s not! It is licensed by Sony Japan and also made in Japan so it is the real deal!”

Strangely, the page doesn’t mention whether this is the shiny or matte version of the case. But they’re both nice…

Tactile+Plus stickers add buttons to your smartphone, kind of. These reusable, textured stickers go on the touchscreen of your iPhone or Android or whatever, over the virtual d-pad and buttons in the game you’re trying to play, and allow for some tactile sensation of where the buttons are. So it’s less like playing on a sheet of glass and more like using a Turbo Touch 360.

This idea occurred to me shortly after getting my iPhone, but I never did anything about it other than wondering if it would work. And now someone’s gone and done the hard part for me! Strapya is selling these for $7.40 each.

Dragon Quest Smile Slime phone charms, featuring Slimes paired up with a Dracky, Golem, and Ghost. Strapya is offering these for $10.50 each. I’d be lying if I said it was a tough choice to pick the standout among these three, because Draaaaaaackkyyyyyyyy.

In other DQ merchandise news, Square Enix and Shibuya’s Parco store announced a “Dragon Quest for Girls+Artist” cross promotion. Labeling anything “for girls” is a bit annoying, but I guess clothing tends to actually be specific to a gender. In any case, the actual items here are cute! And the promo art is awesome:

Gachapin and Mukku iPhone cases. As much as I love cases and other accessories bearing the image of the Hirakke! Ponkikki TV star, I’ve never been able to classify any of them as “subtle” until now. These don’t even have goofy, sleepy faces!

If you want your iPhone 3G/3GS to act as a secret Gachapin fandom test (and oh my God who doesn’t), you can pick up one of these cases from Strapya for $18.70.

Animal-themed DS cartridge cases! How frickin’ cute are these accessories? Each one looks like a different creature: cats, mice, frogs, bears, koalas, and pigs.

The cases sell for around ¥580 each (around $6.39), and while they only hold one cart, they also come with a matching trinket that doubles as a stylus (e.g. a tail for the cat, a tadpole for the frog).

Loto’s Sword and the Thief’s Key, from the Dragon Quest Legendary Weapon Metal Key Ring collection. There’s a pretty wide selection of these lovely metal Dragon Quest artifacts at Strapya.

Though Strapya suggests getting a strap attachment, which I didn’t realize you could get separately, and attaching one of these and your keys to your cell phone, that’s  a really terrible idea that will only lead to severe trauma for the surface of your phone.

Gundam decoration stickers for whatever mobile device (phone, game system). I don’t know what it is about these little stickers — I’m not particularly into Gundam, and I can’t really explain it, but I think these are cute. Available in three varieties: Gundam, Char Zaku, and Zaku, for $5.50 each.

These pens can’t be used with a DS or other handheld gaming device, but they’re amazing. I want all of my writing and pointing tools to be shaped like little Gundam guns.

Gachapin earbuds! Yes, you could have tiny Japanese TV character heads sticking out of your ears. This item comes in both Gachapin and Mukku versions, each of which has the other character on the cable holder.

Crime Scene Strap now available in America →

Did you fall in love with the Crime Scene Chalk Line Screen Cleaner Strap, which puts a “Horrible Crime Scene on Your Cell phone”? Great news! Strapya’s US site just put it up for sale for $6.42 — a price that is more reasonable than anything else related to this thing.

If, however, your tastes tend toward Pokemon-branded safety items, you can get both the “security buzzerand a reflector strap, decorated with your favorite Pokemon!

Crime Scene Strap. For when you want a little… murder scene… on your phone or DS. I say “little,” but it’s about 3 inches long. This thing would be so wrong it must be right, except it’s too wrong for that. I kind of love it. It includes a blood-puddle screen cleaner, so it’s practical.

Strapya of Japan is selling this ridiculous thing for 580円 ($6). Unfortunately, Strapya’s US site doesn’t seem to offer it, though I did find these Pokemon Security Buzzers when I searched for it. “Pull down a monster ball dangling from a security bell, it makes 120 decibel beeping sound,” according to the product description. “Pokemon security buzzer will save you and your kids from violent crimes.”
