Custom Street Fighter III sprite of Street Fighter IV’s El Fuerte, by Shoryuken.com member xxx. He’s made a whole collection of 2D sprites based on Street Fighter IV’s new characters, and SFIV versions of previous characters.

It may not be fair to compare single frames of non-animated sprites to the final results of a game, but oh well: this looks so much better than Street Fighter IV. It’s really cool that the new characters are Street Fightery enough to adapt to the style of a previous game.

Scribblenaut-ized Street Fighter 2 cast by Edison Yan. I love E. Honda’s expression. And Blanka is all “Mraw!”

Some of you will recognize Yan, one of the artists at Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell, as the same talented bloke that brought NeoGAF’s Post #217 scene to life.

He didn’t stop at just SFII’s crew, drawing 18 more fighters to present SFIII’s entire lineup, in Scribblenauts form (click for a larger version):
