StreetPass Quest footage. 1UP has been capturing a bunch of 3DS videos, including this one of the built-in Mii RPG that builds a party from Miis discovered using the StreetPass passive wireless communication feature — thus providing a way to grind on strangers that won’t result in arrest.
I hope you guys are enjoying the 3DS coverage — I know we’re kind of flooding you with it, but the thing just came out! It’s a very exciting time! And since our site’s budget doesn’t cover import 3DS systems (or anything), we aren’t busy playing 3DS games!

Face Raiders and AR Games aren’t the only fun titles pre-installed on the 3DS — Nintendo also has two small games meant to make StreetPass a little more exciting.
For those kids just tuning in, StreetPass is a feature in that automatically exchanges user and game data between two systems that cross each other’s paths even when they’re sleeping (e.g. Dragon Quest IX’s tag mode).
It’s a gimmick designed to get you carrying your 3DS everywhere, and it has two games, StreetPass Quest and StreetPass Puzzle, integrated to the experience.
