Pokemon Tretta Lab makes the 3DS XL even bigger
Popular Japanese arcade game Pokemon Tretta Lab is coming to 3DS this August, and will transform the handheld into something that looks almost as large as a an arcade cabinet in the process. Almost. I don’t know the exact dimensions, but it looks close.
The portable release will act as an extension of its arcade counterpart, and the 3DS and XL accessories allow players to scan the plastic tokens that hold their Pokemon. Here’s an explanation for how the tokens work with the arcade game.
This seems about as likely to come to the U.S. as Learn with Pokemon: Typing Adventure — actually less so, since the arcade game has no presence in the States.
Kirby Wii Mascot Figures. Yes, more Nintendo figure news. While I may not have been the biggest fan of Return to Dreamland, there’s no denying that it’s got some cuuuute Kirbies in it, and I find the prospect of having a 50mm version of one on my desk pretty appealing.
These will be out next month in Japan, and as usual, I’m sure an importer will pick them up soon. Whip Kirby! Uh, that was an exclamation of excitement about the Kirby with the whip ability. Not a command.

Legend of Zelda Historical Pins Collection (click for a larger version. Nintendo isn’t the only company that will be celebrating The Legend of Zelda’s 25th anniversary; Takara Tomy is honoring Zelda with 16 commemorative pins, each based on Japanese boxart from the series’ first NES release to the Ocarina of Time 3D remake.
They’re sold randomly from gashapon dispensers in Japan, but NCSX is selling all of them for $68.90 before shipping/handling, which is crazy bucks. It would be much cheaper if you went out and got a Badge-A-Mint, and just made your own pins — you could also creates ones for the games missing from this collection: Skyward Sword, Link’s Awakening DX, Link’s Crossbow Training, The Faces of Evil, The Wand of Gamelon, and Zelda’s Adventure.

Takara Tomy’s Memo Film DSi.
Available in blue, green, pink, and black, these Magic Slate stickers fit right next to your DSi’s top screen (notice the holes for the speakers), allowing you to keep notes with your system — short messages like “Find this item for so-and-so NPC”, or “Quit buying crap accessories”.
The stickers are cheap — ¥399 ($4.19) for a pair — so you won’t feel too annoyed when they look like a mess of crinkles and scratches after you use them only twice.

The Transformers Disney Label Mickey Mouse. This thing is breathtaking, and I don’t even really care about Mickey Mouse.
He transforms! I’m pretty sure the truck is a separate piece, and the trailer just folds around him, but I do not care at all.
Mickey looks so much more badass than Ultra Magnus in Transformers: Convoy no Nazo:
