DS/3DS Release Dates & Sales // Tiny Cartridge Stickers For Your Games!

E is for Energy Tank Mug. It’s not as nice as Fangamer’s awesome E-mug, but it’s nice to have a budget option. This one, which is less of a custom sculpted art piece and more of a mug, sells for $9 at ThinkGeek.

Also get equipped with: More Mega Man posts

[Thanks, Ludwig]

Yoga Fire sale on Street Fighter IV voice keychains →

Remember those tiny, neat Street Fighter IV joysticks that played game sound samples when you input the correct moves? It turns out that they’re not nearly as hard to acquire as I thought they would be. In fact, retailer Thinkgeek has discounted them to just $4 each, down from $13.

As of right now, only the Dhalsim and Chun-Li versions are available, but you didn’t want to be boring and get the Ryu one anyway. Not when you can have YOGA FIRE! in your pocket. You know Dhalsim is a yoga master, by the way, because he says the word “Yoga” all the time. If you do want a different one, however, Strapya has eight variations for $10 each.

Cheap Bandai stuff at ThinkGeek →

I happened to be browsing ThinkGeek, and noticed that the site had dropped its prices on some great Bandai stuff, including one thing that we’ve covered on Tiny Cartridge before.

The Mugen Peri Peri shipping envelope tear strip toy is now eight bucks (which is infinitely more than you pay for just picking up a pile of Priority Mail envelopes at the post office, but consider the environment). The Aqua Drop, a maze game that uses a drop of water as its “ball,” is on sale for between 13 and 18, depending on the design. The Tsuttsuki Bako game, an LCD game about, uh, sticking your finger in a little hole, is marked down twenty bucks to $30.

My favorite, the Manner Beans Chopstick Practice Game, in which you use chopsticks to pick up adorable little bean-chicks, is $13.

Also of interest: Super Mario Galaxy screen-cleaning straps, figurines, and Sound Drops. Also this thing.

Thumb War: The Handheld Game →

The Thumb Stadium Electronic Game Kit is sort of reminiscent of the Meggy Jr. — a small, kit-built handheld game device with an LED display — but this one is even more simplistic than the Meggy’s 8x8 screen. In fact, it only has three LED lights as a display, and somehow includes four different games.

From ThinkGeek’s description:

Game 1 - ThumbWar™
The object of ThumbWar is simple: press while the other player is pressing. If you do, you get a point.

Game 2 - SlapJack™
During SlapJack, Thumb Stadium randomly flashes the center LED red or green. Be the first to press when center is green and get a point. Don’t press if it isn’t green or the other player gets a point.

Game 3 - Jai Alai™
Center lights up ~ quickly press to “catch” your color. Press again to “throw” to the other player who has to catch on time and throw back. The time to catch gets shorter each throw.

Game 4 - Reflexy™
Reflexy is a one-player game. The object is to quickly press the button that matches the color in the center LED. You go until you miss or are too late. The time to react gets shorter each turn. After the game, your score is flashed ~ Center = x10, Red LED = x1. Press the Red Side Button three times to restart.

The Thumb Stadium sells for $19.99, and you have to know how to solder and do other electronics junk in order to assemble it.
