Trailer for Namco Bandai’s The Munchables. This is pretty old, having been released around when the game was announced last month, but I could never find a decent embeddable version.

How cute is this game? I love all the food enemies. Most of all, I love the inexplicable giant pink poo. What is the big poo doing there? Why would you put that in your trailer? Even if it’s supposed to be ice cream or something, that is totally a big old poo.

Mama’s latest challenge lies in the garden, but you can help Mama enjoy the bounty of your harvest. Amazing! How long, do you think, until this one is announced for Wii?

As an aside, I would love to see training videos featuring Mama. She needs to expand beyond this game business and break into other industries.

Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ trailer, featuring the giant zombie granny boss. GIANT ZOMBIE GRANNY BOSS. IN A ROCKING CHAIR. That soundtrack is fairly rocking, as well.

Despite its anime cutscenes and JRPG-style dialogue sequences, Infinite Space looks like it will be the game that finally makes me feel like a starship captain, just like that time I went to Star Trek: The Experience (R.I.P.) at the Las Vegas Hilton.

This science fiction RPG, inspired by Arthur C. Clarke’s novel Childhood’s End, is scheduled to ship in both Japan and the States in 2009. Here’s another trailer and a developer interview (in Japanese, unfortunately) sent in by reader JFreshIneffect.

Metal Slug 7 trailer.

I meant to post this video several days ago when it first appeared on IGN, but their embeddable player is some straight-up bullhonkey, so you get to watch this SNK-Playmore/Bonnie-Tyler team-up a week late!

This is the best promotional trailer for a DS game to feature a song from the Footloose soundtrack.

Holy crap, the day just keep getting better for Game Center CX fans, which really should be all of you.

The above clip is the first trailer to feature English text/audio from GCCX’s U.S. release, Retro Game Challenge. Notice that in addition to keeping Arino’s very non-American name intact, publisher XSeed also left the Famicom-esque system in there, instead of using something more NES-y.

According to GCCX scholar Ray Barnholt, Bandai Namco is planning something for this year’s upcoming Tokyo Game Show pertaining to the game’s sequel, Game Center CX: Arino no Chousenjou 2. Algebraic!
