Gaplus. It’s been playable on Wii for a while — this video is from Namco Museum Remix — but I am still thrilled about it, and the Virtual Console Arcade in general. It’s just another venue for underappreciated games to be offered to me cheaply, and dismissed by Nintendo fans waiting for Donkey Kong (I’m calling it, that’s going to be the first arcade game whose absence will outrage the EARTHBOUND NOW crowd).
Namco Bandai, who has never been shy about re-releasing arcade classics, has jumped on this announcement with a shitload of games. Splatterhouse! Wonder Momo! Cyber Sled? Numan Athletics!
Yes, I like Wonder Momo, kind of. It’s embarrassing.
