All worth clicking!
I lied, that last link isn’t worth clicking. I just wanted to alert you to its existence.

If you buy a PS Vita bundle on Amazon, you’ll get a copy of acclaimed visual novel Virtue’s Last Reward for free! Amazon has a number of options for this deal, including PS Vita bundles or Assassin’s Creed III: LIberation, Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified, and Madden NFL 13 — I’d go with the first one, especially since it comes with a white PS Vita model. This sale will run until the end of December 15.
This artwork, by the way, is available with a wallpaper-sized version at Kalsypher’s DeviantArt page.

Answering fans’ questions on Twitter, Zero Escape series director and writer Kotaro Uchikoshi disclosed that 999’s hero Junpei will participate in the next nonary game. This third game is expected to delve into the mysteries of Radical-6 and Phi, too.
Also returning in the next Zero Escape release: Virtue’s Last Reward’s Dio and Tenmyouji.
I’ve no idea where this rad GIF came from (maybe Omocat?), so drop in a comment if you know its origins!

Sigma has some words for those of you who are eligible to vote but aren’t voting today. I swear, Virtue’s Last Reward is the gift that keeps on giving for people who run game blogs on Tumblr and like to post screenshots.

There’s a bit of Professor Layton in Virtue’s Last Reward, some of it even intentional (click for larger images)!

There’s not much in the way of virtue in Virtue’s Last Reward. Aksys really took advantage of the “M for Mature” rating here to give us a really immature 3DS/PS Vita game! Also, Sigma is a total perv.

Virtue’s Last Reward doesn’t care about your feelings. The game sees your sad attempts to solve its puzzles, and is like “IDGAF,” and tells you what it really thinks.
I’ve been posting a lot more screenshots and photos from games, just because I’ve been really into sharing the “tiny” moments that make a particular game fun.
It’s so easy to post all the promotional media for an upcoming release, then forget about the game once it’s in stores. I would like to get away from that, and spend more time looking at the different moments people are enjoying in the games they’re currently playing. So I hope you don’t mind us putting up these silly screenshots more often.

Virtue’s Last Reward has “Erotic Units” and Gilbert Gottfried put-downs. After hearing the former Aflac duck’s 50 Shades of Grey reading, I’d give him a -20.
I’m unsure if Erotic Units play any significant role in the 3DS/Vita game, but it’s one of a number of secret files you’ll be able to find in Virtue’s Last Reward. I personally can’t wait to read more about Sigma’s cat problem. I could do without the “Grandpa videos,” though.

Virtue’s Last Reward trailer. Apparently, this was shown during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, but I was feverishly writing up news about Pikachu 3DSes and eShop megatons and I have no recollection of seeing this.
Great music! And the polygonal character models are… actually okay!
Siliconera rounded up a checklist of differences between Rising Star’s EU release and Aksys’s NA version; most importantly, the EU versions won’t have dual audio (Japanese only), but a demo for both 3DS and Vita has already been scheduled. In the US, we get dual audio, but so far only Vita has a demo (which is already out).
