The “Famirimocon,” a Wiimote hacked into Famicom controller bodies. Lamenting the lack of a “classic” controller option in New Super Mario Bros. Wii due to the game’s occasional motion use, Famicom Kaizou’s blogger created a Wiimote that kind of looks like a Famicom controller.

For some reason, the wiring involved in making this happen required parts from a Game Boy Advance link cable and AC adapter. I have no idea. If you’d like to try this wacky project yourself, it’s detailed in a bunch of pictures at the site.

WiiPod MP3 player by Goteking. Wow, this is pretty impressive — Goteking managed to mod an MP3 player to fit into a Wiimote.

Just kidding he just crammed an iPod shuffle in there.

Monster Hunter G Remocon pocket. Normally, I think both Wiimote skins and canvas controller buckets are silly, but these come in the same cool color and pattern as the limited-edition Monster Hunter G Classic Controller. In general, stuff is better when it’s blue.

Hori is so awesome at providing cheaper options to limited edition hardware!
