More Wii U GamePad experiments and prototypes — the Zapper one on the left actually led to Nintendo adding a gyro sensor to the 3DS.

These shots came from the Iwata Asks developer interview for Nintendo Land, which has this odd revelation: Nintendo Land actually has an ending! When you acquire all the stars in each game, you’re treated to this end credits sequence (watch until the end).

Okay, now the ‘game soap’ thing is getting weird.

Gold Edition SharpShot by DreamGear, obviously the light gun shell of choice for gamers anticipating Eurocom’s upcoming Wii remake of N64 classic GoldenEye 007. Unless you’d rather save $25 and play with the standard Remote/Nunchuk or Classic Controller setup instead.

Speaking of GoldenEye 007, I noticed something curious on the remake’s official site — logos for Nintendo DS and N-Space, the developer behind Geist and all those DS ports for Call of Duty. It’s likely N-Space is bringing GoldenEye 007 to DS, too! Man, how hilarious would it be if the DS version actually looked better than the Wii game.*

*not that hilarious, really

Rapid Shot Wii submachine gun controller by Innex. I know the “Mature gamers only” marketing for this thing is asinine, but it’s kind of a neat accessory, and not just because it’s modeled after a Heckler & Koch’s MP5.
If you look closely, you’ll see the Wii Remote, Nunchuk, and Wii Motion Plus are actually built into the controller — hopefully Innex made sure the button placement is intuitive. The speaker and rumble are built-in, too, and the detachable clip even holds the controller’s batteries!
This still isn’t as rad as Pega’s Shark zapper accessory, which has trigger that makes it look like you’re squeezing a Shark’s dick whenever you want to let off a shot.
[Note: If you desperately want a Rapid Shot so you can act out scenes from Die Hard in your living room but don’t have the patience to wait a couple weeks for Innex to debut it to the public, here are directions for creating your own MP5 Wii controller.]

The Rayman Raving Rabbids Wii Plunger Gun. The dumber a Wii gun shell looks, the more I enjoy it, and this one, designed to resemble the plunger guns used in the Rabbids' games light-gun-style minigames, looks like it came straight out of a cartoon.
Even dumber: the Raving Rabbids Gripz. More like Waving Rabbids, amirite?
