Hobonichi Techo’s 2017 cover lineup is here ⊟
And as always, we are charmed. 1101, the Japanese company helmed by Mother/Earthbound series creator Shigesato Itoi, unveiled nearly 80 cover designs for next year’s edition of its flagship Techo planner (available in English) and other planners, which all go on sale on September 1st.
Among the covers are two Mother-inspired jackets (which come with a large Mr. Saturn sticker), a loud and pink design by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s art directer Sebastian Masuda, and various other leather and textured fabric options.
I want them all, especially the Japanese-only Weeks hardcover books, shown above with the Ness and “Meow Meow Meow” covers. But I also want the discipline and motivation to actually use my planner after buying one. Purchasing a Techo and Mother-themed cover will set you back ¥5,292 (around $53) before international shipping.
