With Swapnote shuttered and the chances for a Super Smash Bros. playable role looking slim, the 3DS app’s mascot has to look for a new home. There’s a new and very cute Tumblr following Nikki’s Adventures in Animal Crossing as the ex-postmistress tries to find her way.
It looks like she’s landed on her feet. With few funds to her name, Nikki lived in a tent for a while, but at least now she has a house (and a lot of debt to go along with it). Still, there are moments when Nikki’s reminded of what she’s lost – not just her home or countless penpals, but her purpose. It could be a long time before she really recovers from that.
